ABOUT ME

 

I grew up on a multi enterprise farming operation located around Kyancutta, on the Eyre Peninsula of regional South Australia. A firm enthusiasm towards livestock production, in particular beef has encouraged me to actively peruse a career within this industry. Intensive feeding, nutrition, meat science, breeding, understanding the benefits of low stress stock handling and bridging the gap between producers and consumers are the aspects of the industry that I am particularly passionate about. Currently studying a Bachelor of Animal Science at The University of New England in Armidale, New South Wales I have taken a year off to immerse myself into the fantastic learning challenge presented to me by Jim Conroy from Semex and the good people at Angus Australia.
